The core device of this product adopts a negative feedback ype InGaAs/InP single photon avalanche diode(NFAD), which can achieve rapid quenching of avalanche current and suppress post pulse effects.
The system operates in free running mode and is suitable for applications with uncertain photon arrival times such as LiDAR and fluorescence lifetime detection; Simultaneously supporting external input gate control trigger signals to control whether the system operates in Geiger mode, thereby avoiding strong light saturation or unnecessary detection events. Cooling is provided for NFAD devices in the system to reduce the dark counting rate, while adjustable dead time can be applied to further suppress the post pulse effect.
The equipment adopts multi-mode fiber coupling (MMF62.5) and is compatible with single-mode fiber (SMF). This product can integrate TDC function and use USB2.0 interface for data communication. Combined with dedicated control software, it can achieve flexible configuration of multiple parameters and real-time output of time counting distribution data, effectively supporting various application needs of users. It is a high- performance and low-cost single photon detector.
