QCD600C is a miniaturized, free running single photon detector product for near-infrared applications, providing a cost-effective solution for asynchronous photon detection.
In the field of quantum communication, operating InGaAs avalanche photodiodes in high-speed gating mode can effectively suppress their dark counting and post pulse probability. However,in fields such as LiDAR and fluorescence detection, the arrival time of photons has randomness, and it is necessary that the InGaAs avalanche photodiode operates in freerunning mode. As the core detection unit, InGaAs avalanche photodiodes achieve rapid quenching of avalanche signals and reduce the probability of post pulse in avalanche photodiodes. By cooling the avalanche photodiode, the dark counting rate of the avalanche photodiode is reduced, and the dead time is actively set after each detection event, further reducing the post pulse probability of the avalanche photodiode.
This product integrates TDC function and, together with dedicated control software, can achieve flexible configuration of multiple parameters and output of time measurement data; The structural form is extremely simplified and can be flexibly adapted, effectively supporting various application needs of users.
